Mother Freedom Band - Cutting The Chord

L'album Cutting The Chord de Mother Freedom Band est un classique funky et soul moderne. C'est un album injustement méconnu et difficile à trouver ; nous sommes donc ravis d'offrir à ce titre disco-funk irrésistible la réédition qu'il mérite.

Produit par le grand Al Goodman des Moments et sorti initialement en 1977, Cutting The Chord semble être l'un des albums les moins connus du curieux, et souvent excellent, label « All Platinum ». Hormis un 45 tours regroupant quelques titres, le groupe ne semble avoir sorti que cet album, et quel album ! Un soul-funk d'une qualité exceptionnelle.
