About this release
Alexander Flood's Artifactual Remixes returns to the rhythms of Artifactual Rhythm through eight different production approaches. Atjazz places rich piano movement over weighty kicks, while Kaidi Tatham reshapes the harmony of “Vibração”. Fred Everything's Broken Mix and Close Counters' jazz-inflected electronics offer further perspectives on the original album's grooves. Peacey adds shuffling rhythms, Oliver Night moves towards deep bruk, and Crowd Control & Karl Swisher bring a smooth, rolling feel to “Life Is A Rhythm”. Flood also contributes his own garage-inflected version of “Can't Get Enough”. The cyan blue vinyl selection retains the vocal contributions of Kara Manansala, Vivian Sessoms and Cazeaux O.S.L.O.
