About this release
Artwork’s Red E.P brings the meeting point of UK garage and techno back to Big Apple Records. First released in 2002, Red drew on the producer’s work as Grain as well as his involvement in garage, and found an audience in broken beat sets through Bugz In The Attic. This red vinyl edition presents a three-track programme rather than the original four-cut EP. Red occupies the first side, with Relic and Rank sharing the reverse. Relic was recovered from a DAT recording for this reissue, adding a further part of Artwork’s archive to the release.
