Calm - Before Remixes

Calm’s Before album receives four reinterpretations from Willie Graff, Gallo and Aura Safari on Hell Yeah Recordings. Graff opens with a version of ‘I Love You’ that sets rippling piano and reed melodies over rounded drums and bass. Gallo’s Tropical Hinterhof remix approaches the same song through softer keys and a relaxed groove. On the reverse, Aura Safari’s Desert remix of ‘Feel It’ pairs melodic piano with loose percussion, while their Daydream treatment of ‘Kunpoo’ brings gentle breaks, looping strings and sustained chords. The EP draws three compositions into a shared Balearic setting, with each remixer changing the balance of rhythm and melody.
