About this release
Common Saints pairs Idol Eyes with Summer Sun for the first release in a 7-inch collector series. The UK project’s psychedelic soul sound brings together warm analogue textures, laid-back rhythms and a melodic focus, with arrangements that balance songcraft and cinematic atmosphere. Cut by Stuart Hawkes at Metropolis Studios in London, the record presents two pieces from that sound world on heavyweight black vinyl. Idol Eyes takes the A-side, while Summer Sun shares the release as the AA-side, bringing the two recordings together in a compact physical edition.
