About this release
Fava Luva and Dr Professor bring a pair of understated disco reworks to Un Own, favouring spacious arrangements and a low-slung pulse. Sent Ra drifts through an airy, Balearic atmosphere, with an aquatic feel and a gently rolling rhythm. Love Giver offers a more outward-facing contrast, opening with spoken words before keyboard flourishes and a relaxed groove come together. Its boogie inflection gives the second side a warmer lift without breaking the record’s unhurried pace. The two edits keep their focus on texture, melodic detail and gradual movement, linking late-night intimacy with an easy rhythmic flow.
