About this release
Dijon duo FLAUR's Hold On combines disco-funk and Balearic pop across three original songs and three remixes. Wurlitzer chords and slap bass shape the title track, while 'Now' builds around layered funk and vocal lines. 'On My Mind', recorded live at Mastoid Studio in Paris, changes the pace with piano and a more reflective performance. Gaettson reworks that song on the A-side, with Art Of Tones' Boogie Dub of 'Hold On' and Faze Action's Full Vocal Mix of 'Now' sharing the reverse. Released by Cosmocities Records, the six-track vinyl EP presents the originals alongside three distinct approaches to their rhythms and melodies.
