About this release
Rawax brings together Fever Tension and Fresh Juice II for the tenth release in Fresh & Low's Treasures series. Originally issued on Black Vinyl Records in 1999 and 2000, these cuts capture a warm, musical strain of deep house with a strong feel for bass, percussion and groove.
The A-side offers "Fever Tension" and its more spacious Version, moving from a chunky, funk-led rhythm into deeper territory. On the flip, "Especiale" appears in its Carnival Mix and Snap On Dub forms: one brings a loose Latin swing, while the other gives the drums and percussion more space. Four complementary cuts on a single 12".
