About this release
Brooklyn party duo Fundido land on DFA Records with Get A Grip, a house 12-inch featuring Emma Dufaux on vocals. Latane Hughes and Billy Scher team up with producer Miles Felix for a track built around straight-up four-to-the-floor drums and a synth line that keeps digging in. Dufaux’s vocal gives it the hook.
The Original and Bliss mixes take the A-side, with Make A Dance and Asa Tate handling the remixes on the reverse. Four versions, with enough variation to find a place at different points in a set. A natural fit for DFA’s dancefloor side, from a duo who spent years running parties before putting their own tracks on wax.
