About this release
Brooklyn duo Fundido joins Philadelphia’s Universal Cave for Paradise Tempo, an eight-track collection that moves between downtempo, Balearic dance music and disco. Dirty Dave and Pasternak open with Touch Me, followed by Nick Stropko’s saxophone-led Emotional Jungle and Masha Mar’s Take Me To Mecca. Universal Cave closes the A-side with Charlie’s Vision. Fundido’s piano-and-bass-driven Amor leads the reverse, followed by Tucan Discos, Orion Agassi and Sisserou, whose Be Careful Operator ends the record with a blend of jazz, swing and soul. The release features artwork by Ray Fernandez and mastering by Mat Leffler-Schulman.
