About this release
Getdown Services follow Crisps with Massive Champion, a second album shaped by childhood memories, British cultural references and the Bristol duo’s dry observations of everyday life. Josh Law and Ben Sadler wrote the record between green rooms, car journeys and touring, bringing their humour into songs that also explore self-pity and personal change. I Can’t Die Like That and The Radiator sit within a thirteen-track sequence that balances spoken-word delivery, groove and offbeat pop hooks. Produced by Law, the album keeps the pair’s live energy in its studio setting. This transparent lime vinyl edition includes a printed lyric inner sleeve.
