About this release
As Grande As introduces the sound of Grande Mahogany, the project of Finnish-Ghanaian multi-instrumentalist Jesse Essel. Drawing on funk, rock, Afro-psychedelia and R&B, the album reflects a musical background shaped in both Finland and Manchester. Angle Of The Dangle, Thundercurls and Super Rocker sit within a twelve-track sequence that moves from the brief opening F.E.L.A. to the closing Outro - The Sound Is Through. Mastered by Guy Davie at Electric Mastering, the record appears on Laundry Music Company. This single LP presents the full album, including Garden Séfine, Shades Ebony and Spaceboy Pinkhead.
