About this release
Greville & The Open Hearts builds Luna Forest Kitchen around slow-moving electronics, hand percussion and an affectionate dedication to Luna. I Don't Know Where I'm Going But I'm Going fills the first side, letting repeating synth phrases, horns and bongos unfold across more than seventeen minutes. The title track takes a lighter, skipping rhythm through another extended arrangement, with She completing the reverse. Machine beats and organic percussion sit together in a loose, dreamlike setting, drawing on ambient and New Age textures while retaining a gentle dance pulse. The record appears on Sydney label Mad Habitat.
