About this release
Fenian takes Kneecap's bilingual rap into a production shaped by acid house, trip-hop and dubstep. Dan Carey gives the album a dense electronic setting, with sirens, alarms and layered voices working as part of the rhythm rather than sitting outside it. The group's confrontational delivery meets that shifting backdrop across fourteen tracks, balancing forceful rapping with hooks and changes in pace. Fawzi appears on Palestine, Radie Peat joins Cocaine Hill and Kae Tempest features on Irish Goodbye. Issued by Heavenly Recordings, this edition is pressed on red-and-black tri-colour vinyl.
