Pessimist - Pony Boy Club EP

Pessimist returns to UVB-76 Music with Pony Boy Club, a four-track EP built around precise drum programming and dark, enclosed spaces. Pess One opens with a reduced arrangement and tightly placed drums, before the title track brings heavier kicks, wide reverb and brief laser-like tones. NRG-97 draws on a familiar rave palette, bending it towards the producer’s own sound. Under Surveillance closes in a tense, claustrophobic mood. Across the record, sparse elements and carefully controlled percussion hold the focus, moving from the measured opening into more forceful and unsettled territory on the later tracks.
