About this release
Sam Shure makes his Rekids debut with Belinda, joining a rhythmic house approach to detailed electronic textures. The title track places restless, bit-crushed sounds and clipped stabs above a firm groove, with the vocal threaded through the arrangement. Shure teams up with Deer Jade on String Theory, where a steady rhythm supports uplifting strings and synthesizers. No Time To Play closes the record with winding sequences and a melody that gradually builds in intensity. The three tracks move between more fragmented electronic detail and fuller melodic passages, giving each arrangement a distinct shape within the EP.
