About this release
Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist reunite for Alfredo 2, the follow-up to their 2020 collaboration. Gibbs’ rapping sits at the centre of a fourteen-track programme produced by The Alchemist, with three guests joining the duo: Anderson .Paak on Ensalada, Larry June on Feeling and J.I.D. on Gold Feet. From the opening 1995 to the closing A Thousand Mountains, the album keeps the rapper-and-producer partnership in focus, with I Still Love H.E.R., Gas Station Sushi and Jean Claude among the intervening cuts. This edition presents the complete album across two black vinyl records.
