About this release
DJ Alone Again makes his WOLF Music debut with Orbital Constructs, connecting deep house chords with a melodic, soulful approach. Freedom Of House pairs skippy percussion and a driving bassline with spoken reflections on house music and self-expression. State Of Flux brings vibraphone melody and subtle synth strings into the groove, while Horizontal Patterns adds a restrained vocal hook to a similarly warm arrangement. In Your Orbit closes with floating flute lines, vocal phrases and dubby chord stabs. The record follows releases on YORE, House Salad and Dobro, drawing those rhythmic and melodic interests into four original tracks.
