About this release
Dansu Discs opens its Origins series with a four-artist selection tracing different strands of the label’s house sound. Gaskin leads with Anthem, followed by X-Coast’s The Realest Oh La La. On the reverse, L.P. Rhythm contributes People Dancing before Renceau closes with the piano-led I’m Addicted. The selection links the label’s lo-fi house beginnings with newer, more direct club production, placing familiar names alongside an Amsterdam newcomer. Each artist supplies one track, giving the record a clear view of the musical connections behind Dansu Discs rather than focusing on a single producer’s sound.
