About this release
Housey Doingz’s A Sillybration I gathers recordings from the group’s formative role in British tech house. Terry Francis, Nathan Coles, Laurant Webb, Dave Coker and Justin Bailey developed a sound that connected house swing with dub-influenced space and tougher electronic rhythms. Remastered from the original DAT tapes, this first volume brings together the Piano tracks, Sherbert Dip and Curly Wurly alongside Ambidextrous Left, Gob Stopper and Lonely Tribe. Curated by Yossi Amoyal for Sushitech, the collection forms one half of a wider sixteen-track survey, with eight recordings presented across this double vinyl set.
