About this release
Huxley’s Rekids debut connects deep house with a firmer club sound across Mind G%mes. M%ND opens with enveloping pads, soulful vocal touches and delicate melodic figures over a rounded house groove. Club Sh%t raises the intensity with sharp synthesizers, cowbells and forceful drums at the boundary between house and techno. On the reverse, Fear N%thing develops filtered loops and bright chords before Any1 completes the set. The EP brings the Dumb Safari label head’s rhythmic detail into Radio Slave’s catalogue, moving from softer textures towards more direct arrangements without losing its melodic thread.
