About this release
Jah Wobble brings his distinctive sense of space and rhythm to Bedroom Album. Made in a bedroom studio, the record moves through dub, atmospheric electronics and experimental textures, with bass and understated arrangements holding its different moods together.
City and Sense Of History sit alongside the darker Journey To Death and the expansive Desert Song. First released in spring 1983, it was his second solo album, following his Virgin debut and collaborations with Holger Czukay and The Edge. The eleven tracks bring dub, post-punk and atmospheric electronics into the intimate scale of a home recording.
