About this release
Loogie pairs two contrasting cassette-rooted productions on this PIP Den Haag seven-inch. “A Hot Day In Summer” brings a psychedelic soul and surf feel to the A-side, while “Space Invader” turns towards lo-fi street soul built around drum-machine rhythms. The two tracks share a hazy, exploratory character, moving between warm song textures and the science-fiction atmosphere suggested by the flip’s title.
