About this release
Ashley Beedle reshapes MAMA's Unmask Me with shimmering chords, shuffling percussion and a warm Balearic feel. His vocal mix balances the song's atmospheric character with a deep house rhythm, a combination closely associated with Andrew Weatherall's sets.
This green vinyl edition on Batty Bass Records pairs the vocal mix with a short version and Beedle's dub. Weatherall closed his set at Convenanza in September 2017 with the track, a documented appearance of the remix in one of his festival sets.
