About this release
Celestial Echo brings two sides from Grand Cayman's Memory of Justice Band back into circulation, working with Whale Rider Records and Medlar. Formed in the 1970s, the band drew together soul, reggae and funk, and this pairing shows just how naturally those sounds met in their music.
Going Round In Circles is the sweeter side: warm modern soul with rich vocals and an easy lift. Power changes the pace on the flip, a reggae-boogie cut produced by Sly and Robbie with a weighty rhythm section and hooks built for the dancefloor.
Format: 7-inch vinyl
Label: Celestial Echo
