Primitive Urges - Compilation Vol. 1

Primitive revisits its catalogue with Compilation Vol. 1, bringing four of the UK label’s sought-after DJ tools together on a limited 12-inch. Released three decades after the label first emerged, this selection draws on the Vert, Primitive Tools and Primitive Urges records, with the tracks remastered for a new pressing. Their appeal sits in the raw construction: stripped-down arrangements and heavyweight rhythms that work across house and techno sets.

Ceremony Dub opens the record, followed by selections from Tools Edition 1, Urges Vol. 4 and Tools Edition 2. Pressed on hand-stamped vinyl, PRIM013 offers a focused introduction to the label and a practical way to put these catalogue favourites back in the record bag.
