About this release
Rob Pearson launches RP Curated by opening his archive of unreleased, road-tested productions. Studio Secrets Vol. I gathers three tracks that reflect the deep, dubby and rhythmically loose sound of the British tech-house pioneer and Evasive Records founder.
Secret 1 combines spaced-out synth motifs and echoing vocal fragments with a weighty bassline. Secret 2 moves into more warped house-funk territory, while Secret 3 closes with a locked groove and acid detail for late-night sets.
