About this release
The Martinez Brothers’ H2DAIZZO returns on Defected with the original and three remixes, bringing together versions from different points in the track’s history. First released in 2012, the original centres on a low-slung, minimal house groove. Peggy Gou’s 2017 interpretation reshapes that rhythm, while Butch’s 2018 mix gives it a more driving club treatment. Josh Baker adds a newer perspective to complete the package. The vinyl places Baker alongside the original on the A-side, with Gou and Butch sharing the reverse, gathering four approaches to the same rhythmic framework.
