About this release
Gracias Especial marks the fiftieth release from [Emotional] Especial with a four-track showcase of the label's club-focused sound. 53X opens with 'Radar', followed by Jamie Paton's dub-influenced remix of Chez De Milo's 'Kremer'. Alphonse's 'Raze Rave' brings breakbeats, vocal samples and dub bass into the B-side, before Paton's rework of 53X's 'Zen '23' closes the record. Across the selection, house, trance, acid and new-wave influences meet the spacious production that has run through the imprint's catalogue. The 12-inch is housed in a specially designed reverse-board sleeve, with two tracks on each side.
