Fouk - Get It Done EP

Following years spent contributing killer EPS to Dam Swindle's Heist Recordings, Outplay founders Fouk (AKA Daniel Leeseman and Hans Peeman) make their debut on Jimpster and Tom Roberts' Freerange Records imprint.

The Dutch duo sets the tone with title track 'Get It Done', where jaunty piano stabs, warming chords, disco strings and heady vocal snippets and a chunky bassline dance atop a chunky bassline and swinging, loose-limbed garage-house groove, before unfurling the string-drenched and emotive beauty of 'Floating'. On side B we get two takes on breezy and colourful deep house number 'Neon Flight': a fine, constantly building 'Club Mix', and the deeper and more musically expansive beauty of the 'First Light' take.
