Richenel - Perfect Stranger sees Music From Memory revisit the Dutch artist's cult 1982 cassette album La Diferencia. The six-track vinyl EP combines alternate takes from Richenel's personal copy with a previously unreleased composition, opening a window onto Amsterdam's experimental underground.

Recorded amid the city's punk and squatter scene, the music blends DIY electronics, synthesized bedroom funk, soul and art-pop with Richenel's distinctive voice. Co-compiled by Orpheu de Jong, Perfect Stranger is an essential reissue for collectors of Dutch wave, experimental funk and archival electronic music.
