Move D - To The Disco '77 (Remastered)

Move D returns to the archives for a remastered pressing of To The Disco '77 on All That Jelly. David Moufang's original appeared on vinyl in 2013, and its dusty samples, minor-key chords and gently rolling groove still make a strong case for his understated approach to deep house.

The A-side pairs crisp drum-machine beats with long, rounded basslines and a light disco touch. On the reverse, the Move D Live Rework adds firmer drums and flanged jazz guitar, keeping the warmth of the original while giving it a different shape. Two versions with room to breathe, suited to patient mixes and late-night house sets.
