About this release
Whodamanny returns to his Biloba label with Obsesión / Corazón Caliente, a four-track 12" built around romantic intensity and a vivid club pulse. “Obsesión” explores the lingering force of an obsessive love, while “Corazón Caliente” pushes the energy higher with a raw proto-house rhythm and bold workstation brass.
The B-side opens the music up for different moments in a set. “Dub Pasión” gives the material a dub treatment, and “Sueño De Verano” offers an instrumental counterpart. Together, the two songs and their alternate versions connect Latin flavour, Italo disco colour and house rhythms, giving DJs both the full expression of the originals and more flexible ways to work their atmosphere into the mix.
