About this release
Butch’s Official Bump Call EP returns on Rekids with Riva Starr’s Warehouse Remix. Loose funk breaks, congas and soulful vocal samples shape the title track, joining vintage influences to a warm, low-slung house groove.
Riva Starr gives ‘Official Bump Call’ firmer drums and a deeper, driving feel. ‘Foxtrot Uniform’ closes with soul, funk and gospel motifs, building tension around its vocal. This 12" repress brings the three-track EP back into circulation.
