About this release
Nomi Ruiz and Eli Escobar's Love Louder brings the New York collaborators' songwriting and production together on an eight-track LP. Their shared history reaches back to 'Desire' in 2011, and this album connects the energy of their city's nightlife with reflections on love, loss and change. 'Full Fantasy' and 'Heathens' carry the dancefloor side of the record, while 'Go Be Gone' turns towards the difficulty of saying goodbye. Ruiz's vocals and Escobar's production hold those moods together across a concise two-sided programme. Released through Razor-N-Tape Reserve, the vinyl closes with 'Glitter and Gold' and excludes the digital-only extended version of 'Full Fantasy'.
