About this release
Hear Again gathers nine tracks from Pal Joey's catalogue on his own Pal Joey Music label. The New York producer's work spans house, hip hop, jazz and soul, with releases under names including Earth People and a history on Cabaret, Loop d'Loop and Foot Stompin'. This selection keeps the focus on his house productions, moving from 'It Feels Good' and 'Tomorrow' through to 'Everlasting' and 'Elegance'. Across its two sides, the album revisits a career built around sample-based production and a direct, raw New York sound. The LP presents four tracks on side A and five on side B.
