Hector Lavoe - Alejate

New York DJ and producer Joe Claussell revisits Hector Lavoe's classic 'Alejate' with a suite of remixes drawn from his Hammock House project, originally created for Fania Records.

This extremely limited yellow vinyl 12" presses three versions: the percussive, floor-finished 'Sacred Rhythm Version', the deeper, low-end 'Joaquin's Disparate Dub', and the final pineal 'Sacred Rhythm Radio Edit'. Claussell is a true seer and hearer of the link between sonic spirituality and those subtle jazzy touches not normally associated, blowing cosmologic dust into Lavoe's original while keeping the Latin soul inside intact.
