About this release
Ashley Beedle reshapes MAMA's Unmask Me with shimmering chords, shuffling percussion and a warm Balearic feel. His vocal mix balances the song's atmospheric character with a deep house rhythm, a combination closely associated with Andrew Weatherall's sets.
This green vinyl edition on Batty Bass Records pairs the vocal mix with a short version and Beedle's dub. Three approaches to the same song give DJs room to move between the vocal and the groove.
