About this release
Watusa land on Jazz Room Records with Cozmos, a sharp 7" vinyl pairing Afro-Cuban jazz energy with heavyweight Latin funk and cosmic jazz heritage.
The A-side reworks Sun Ra’s 'Watusa' with members of Los Angeles Afro-Latin outfit Jungle Fire, while the flip takes on Charles Mingus’ 'Meditations On Integration' with a funkier edge. A tidy 45 for jazz DJs, Latin selectors and collectors of Jazz Room heat.
