About this release
Skyrager presents Coconut Dreams Volume One, a fourteen-track 2LP journey through tropical soul, downtempo folk, AOR and cosmic ambience. Curated by Danny McLewin of Psychemagik, the compilation imagines a soft-focus island retreat built from rare records discovered across decades of digging.
The sequence moves from The Carmets and Ryo Kawasaki & The Golden Dragon through Angela Bofill, Keiko Nosaka & George Murasaki, Harari, Pat Wells and Yasuko Agawa. Pressed on black bio vinyl for Mr Bongo, MRBLP334 is designed as an immersive start-to-finish listen.
