About this release
Construção brings together Chico Buarque's finely drawn songwriting and the rhythmic language of Brazilian popular music. The title track's accumulating verses stand at the centre of a record that also includes ‘Deus Lhe Pague’, ‘Cotidiano’ and ‘Samba De Orly’. Moving between intimate songs and more dramatic arrangements, it remains a compelling entry into Buarque's catalogue. This Ipanema Sun vinyl edition gathers the album's ten tracks on a single LP.
