About this release
Joaquin Joe Claussell revisits his early Cosmic Ritual alias with a three-track release on Sacred Rhythm Music & Cosmic Arts. 'Kanita (Forgiveness Is A Beautiful Thing)' explores the atmospheric, inward-looking side of his music, drawing on the spacious sensibility that has long connected his ambient work, spiritual jazz influences and deeper dancefloor productions.
'Heaven' offers a tribute to Nujabes, while 'Myths Across Tribes' turns towards percussion and trance-like movement. Together, the pieces favour texture, mood and patient listening over a straightforward club format. This edition comes on orange 7-inch vinyl in a full-colour sleeve, with all three tracks gathered under The Return Of Cosmic Ritual.
