Kerri Chandler - Lost and Found EP Vol 1

Kerri Chandler opens the Lost & Found series by revisiting four previously unreleased recordings from the 1990s and early 2000s. His grandfather Calvin Reed Sr., credited as Grampa, features on ‘What Will We Do’, adding spoken and sung phrases over swinging drums, organ and bass. ‘Tonight’ follows with airy chords and arpeggios before the reverse moves into the raw bassline and vocal refrain of ‘Into The Night’. ‘This And That’ closes with shifting synth textures and a loop-led groove. Issued on Chandler’s Kaoz Theory label, the EP offers four different angles on his enduring New Jersey house sound.
