About this release
Zima Stulecia turn up the heat on 36,6 °C, a five-track EP for Astigmatic Records. Latarnik and Cancer G, also known for their work with EABS and Błoto, bring synthesizers, samplers and live percussion into a club setting, drawing on techno, house and their background in improvisation.
Recorded at Ciało in Wrocław, the material grew from a performance of their debut Minus 30°C into a collective improvisation shaped by the room. The temperature rises across the sequence, from the title track through “Subfebrilia” and “Omamy” to “41 °C” and “Hipertermia”. It captures the duo’s music evolving in front of an audience, with loose instrumental interplay meeting the momentum of the dancefloor.
