Freddie & Dessie - Girls Talk

Freddie & Dessie’s Girls Talk brings cousins Fredrick Dookie and Desmond Silpatt together on a roots reggae recording made at Aquarius Studio. Arranged by Wire Lindo, the session features backing vocals from Beres Hammond, supporting Freddie’s lead performance. The duo’s vocal chemistry sits at the centre of the song, connecting its roots rhythm with a warm, soulful delivery. This Shella Records reissue presents Girls Talk on the A-side, paired with Version on the reverse. It returns the vocal recording to seven-inch vinyl while preserving the original single’s song-and-version format.
