About this release
Dark Entries gathers eleven overlooked recordings on Endangered Species Vol. 2, moving between Italo disco, synthwave, EBM and DIY post-punk. Palazzo di Danza’s “Play That Song For Me” opens the collection, followed by music from Olga Vosconyan and Alexander Robotnick. Dwayne R. Goettel and cEvin Key’s “Bastards” and à;GRUMH...’s “The Army” bring a tougher industrial pulse.
The compilation also features France Douce & The Abortions, Altres, Cook, Khmer Rouge, Quiet Room and Chachnil, tracing the connections between pop melodies, machine rhythms and experimental textures. The vinyl LP comes in a sleeve designed by Eloise Shir-Juen Leigh, with a 16-page booklet of liner notes, lyrics and photographs.
