About this release
Hackney Electronica bring Feedback Memory to Dark Entries, joining Quinn Whalley of Paranoid London, Unai Trotti and producer Margo Broom for five pieces of acid, electro and wave. Formed during lockdown, the trio follow Synaptic Shadows with a record that examines the blurred boundary between digital escape, pleasure and paranoia.
Six Foot Seven features Mutado Pintado on vocals, while Trapped In The Circuit channels the group’s forceful club sound. The title track and Lost Trip - Destino explore stranger electronic textures before Compressed Air closes with breakbeats and a slower, trip-hop atmosphere. Sleeve artwork comes from Germán Bardo.
