Joey Beltram - Beltram Vol. 1

First released in 1990, Beltram Vol. 1 pairs Energy Flash with three further examples of Joey Beltram’s early R&S sound. Jazz 3033 turns towards darker acid textures, while Subsonic Trance and Psycho Bass explore different combinations of low-end pressure, synthesizer movement and percussion. The EP’s contrast between direct club force and more spacious passages gives the four tracks a distinct shape beyond its best-known opening cut. Beau Thomas at Ten Eight Seven Mastering remastered this edition, presented in an updated sleeve that recreates the original packaging. It brings the complete four-track record together on a single twelve-inch.
