About this release
Rubinskee explores warm, melodic deep house on Vila Olimpia EP for Departamento. Inspired by solitary weekends in São Paulo, the six-track twelve-inch combines rounded textures with carefully shaped machine rhythms.
Half Meal (Kilo Mix) and Sigueme (Funchal Mix) lead into Too Many Days, which also receives a more hypnotic treatment from Don Alex Albert on the reverse. So Tight features Shoao, while a live version of Us Less closes the record with a more intimate feel.
