Just shy of a decade after it first slipped out, turning its creator into a star in the process, Purple Disco Machine's debut album, Soulmatic, returns via a special Record Store Day 2026 reissue. The German producer's signature sound combines synth-heavy nu-disco nostalgia and nods to the work of Patrick Cowley and Giorgio Moroder with a big dash of Boris Dlugosch style disco-house and collaborations aplenty.
